Free Runners is a premium running and endurance training club based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Established in 2015, we help everyday individuals become confident runners through structured coaching, small batches and a strong, disciplined community.

Free Runners started in 2015 as a small group of friends who loved early morning runs around Coimbatore’s Race Course. Over the years, that small group has grown into one of the city’s most respected running communities, supporting hundreds of runners across 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon and ultra distances.
Today, Free Runners operates as a structured, professionally managed club with experienced coaches, clear training blocks and a committee that oversees quality, safety and growth. We believe running is more than finishing a race – it is a discipline that changes how you think, eat, sleep and show up in life.
Our focus is simple: train smart, stay injury-free and enjoy the process. Whether you are starting from zero, coming back after a break or chasing a new personal best, you will always know what to do, why you are doing it and who is running beside you.

Clear, progressive plans
Periodised training blocks for 5K, 10K, half and full marathon. Each week has a role – speed, strength, endurance or recovery – so effort is planned, not random.
Small, coached batches
Morning batches are intentionally kept small so coaches can watch your form, breathing and pacing instead of shouting generic instructions to a crowd.
Community that follows through
Runners from different professions and age groups, all training with respect for each other’s pace. The culture is serious about consistency, not comparison.
Simple, transparent pricing
One membership covers all coached group sessions. No confusing tiers, no hidden add-ons – just clear, consistent training.

How your training week is structured
Sessions are timed around Coimbatore’s light, traffic and heat. You choose the batch – the structure stays consistent.
Additional beginner or custom batches are opened based on demand. Easy run and recovery guidance is shared for other days.

Free Runners is run like a professional club, with a structured committee overseeing training quality, safety, finance and long-term community growth.
Sets club vision, supports coaching standards and leads partnerships with events, brands and communities in Coimbatore.
Leads day-to-day operations, member engagement and internal communication so every runner has a clear, smooth experience.
Manages athlete registrations, onboarding and communication between runners, coaches and the leadership team.
Oversees membership fees, club accounting and sponsorship budgets, ensuring transparency and sustainability.
Plans long-run routes, logistics and club participation in races across Coimbatore and other cities.
Focuses on injury-prevention resources, mental wellness and beginner support so runners can stay consistent for years.
